System Integrity: Defending Arizona's Elections

As a System Engineer, I've spent my career understanding a fundamental truth: a system's integrity is everything. A well-designed system produces reliable results. A system that is compromised by bad actors or misused for purposes it was never intended for will inevitably fail.

Right now, our American system of self-governance is showing signs of critical strain.

Here in Arizona, we have built something to be proud of: a secure and accessible election system. For years, our mail-in ballots have made it easy and safe for everyone—Republicans, Democrats, and Independents—to participate in our democracy. Our voter-created Independent Redistricting Commission has been a national model for drawing fair maps that lead to competitive elections, not partisan coronations. It is a good system, and it works.

But that system is now under attack. The unbalanced administration in Washington is on a crusade to outlaw mail-in voting and is actively encouraging partisan gerrymandering in other states. This is a direct assault on the rights of all voters.

On these critical issues of system integrity, our current representative and the Republican caucus have been silent. That silence is complicity.

If I earn the honor of being your representative in Congress, I will always fight to protect Arizona's successful voting systems. My commitment is to defend and champion our independent redistricting model and to ensure our mail-in ballots remain safe, secure, and available to every registered voter.

It's time to send a representative to Washington who will defend our system, not just a party line.
