System Shutdown: Day 29 - Where is the Work Ethic?

We are on Day 29 of the GOP shutdown. As a System Engineer, I know what it takes to fix a crisis: you work 50 hours straight if you have to. The Republican Caucus isn't even showing up. This is a failure of leadership and a failure of work ethic.
